What I did before coming to TASC
This isn’t the first time I’ve worked for a not-for-profit in Australia. Before joining the TASC team, I was the Administration Officer at the Toowoomba Youth and District Service. Before that, I worked for Copylam and Instant Copy Centre. Prior to all this, I was a bookkeeper for a financial and investment firm, as well as Personal Administrator to the Manager and Owner of this company. I’ve had experience in working for a Transport firm (transporting produce and fuel); an Industrial Clothing Manufacturer; I’ve worked in another Legal Firm in the Magistrate’s Court Department and even an Accounts Department at a Private Hospital/Clinic. I’ve been responsible for setting up Accounts from a (paper) ledger and/or cardex system to an accounting program and/or Excel in a company that manufactured coffins and also for an Insurance Broker! I’ve loved every minute of the extensive experience I’ve managed to obtain over the years.
What are my academic achievements
As I work with this software on a daily basis, I like to keep myself updated in the Microsoft Office programs, particularly MS Office Word and Excel. I have also been trained in Pastel and QuickBooks Accounting Software.
